The death of David Tanaka was one of the most moving stories in the 39-year history of Neighbours, listening to the voice note he left for Aaron to find, knowing he was dying, knowing he was saying farewell to his husband, his daughter, his twin brother and even his estranged father.

There are still many unanswered questions around David’s death, but one certainty is that this will have repercussions on life in Erinsborough for a long time to come and effect every resident of Ramsay Street.

Here, we get a first look at David’s funeral as friends and family members gather to say farewell. We also move on to The Waterhole, where David’s wake is being held and it appears that, unsurprisingly, tensions are running high.
