THIS ARTICLE INCLUDES UNMISSABLE DRAMA FROM THE EPISODE OF NEIGHBOURS THAT AIRED ON FEBRUARY 6TH 2024
In the aftermath of David’s tragic death, we saw Paul Robinson visit Eden Shaw in hospital. In a heated exchange, Eden asked for help, but Paul made it clear that Eden was in no position to try and bargain with him – threatening him if he didn’t keep his mouth shut.
The pair never made it clear exactly what information Paul is desperate for Eden to keep secret, but in today’s Neighbours, a somber Paul took us back to shortly before David’s death.
We know that Neighbours is no stranger to a flashback (Don’t worry, this one was only a minute or two long, not an entire week) and Paul’s memories took us straight to the meat of the story.
We see Eden at Paul’s penthouse, sharing a whisky, discussing Krista. Paul making it clear that he was happier when Krista wasn’t around.
Eden says he wants to visit her hotel room, Paul tells him that isn’t a good idea as security will get rid of him immediately. and that she likely wouldn’t be there anyway.
Paul goes on to reveal that Krista has gone away with Leo and also lets it slip that she is pregnant with his child.
Hoping that this means that Eden will either take Krista away or scare her away, Paul sends him off, telling him to never contact him directly again.
Eden leaves. Paul will see him again in just a few hours, after being involved in an incident that lead to his son David’s death.
This explains Paul’s feelings of guilt after finding out that David had died, also, the way he froze when Terese told him that Eden had been responsible.
Paul’s anger and guilt boils up inside, he sees that the whisky glass that Eden used is still sitting on the balcony table. He picks it up and smashes it against the wall. Can Paul live with the guilt that his actions lead to David’s death? Can Eden be trusted to keep the secret quiet?
New episodes of Neighbours drop at 7am, Monday to Thursday on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
