Amazon Freevee have thrown a massive curveball in their uploads of classic Neighbours episodes to their streaming platform this month, meaning that not one but two years of the show will arrive on 18th May – a week today!

Previously the streamer has uploaded a full year of episodes monthly, starting with 2012 in February, 2013 in March and 2014 last month.

The episodes launching on the service next Thursday are from 2015 and 2016, meaning viewers can relive the celebrations of the 30th birthday and the moment Harold returned… with Madge’s ghost in tow; Tyler and Aaron Brennan’s arrivals, the expansion of the Canning family, Sonya’s run as mayoress, Sarah Beaumont dropping her son Angus on the Kennedy’s and his subsequent obsession with Susan’s niece Elly, Ned thirsting over step mum Lauren, Scott and Charlene’s daughter Madison’s stint on the street, the hotel explosion and the arrival of Leo and David Tanaka.

That’s A LOT of Neighbours goodness coming your way, with plenty of old and new faces to appeal to fans of all ages whether you’re a long term viewer or not.

If Amazon continue this trend of uploading two years per month it means we can expect 2017 and 18 next month, 2019 and 20 in July, and the “final” two years in August ahead of new episodes debuting on the service in September.
