In Tuesday’s episode of Neighbours’ epic ‘Death in the Outback’ week, the residents of Erinsborough began to seriously worry as they realised that Toadie and Mel’s disappearance is connected to Tess and Heath.

On Monday, we saw Toadie and Mel inadvertently get involved in Tess and Heath’s embezzlement of millions of dollars, when they went to visit the house where Heath is living. After discovering fake passports and bank statements showing that they had been syphoning money away from SinCast, they came face-to-face with one of Tess’ henchmen.

Neither Toadie or Mel returned home, neither are answering their phones and Terese jumped to the conclusion that Toadie and Mel had run away together.

Today, the truth about Tess was uncovered, leading to the discovery that she is connected to Toadie and Mel’s disappearance.

Paul, suspicious of what Tess had been doing, found out that the big contract which Lassiters lost to another hotel recently was connected to Tess, making him believe that Tess was finding ways to make the hotel lose money.

Paul heads off to speak with Tess, meanwhile Leo convinces Krista to call Reece in the USA and report back to her what they have found out. On the call, Krista discovers that Tess hasn’t spoken to Reece in weeks following a business disagreement and SinCast are completely unaware of Tess’ plans to sell their stake in Lassiters.

Paul arrives at Tess’ house just in time to watch her leave, suspicious, he goes to the house to investigate a little further. With the door ajar, Paul heads into the house to see if anyone else is at home but finds the place completely deserted, but on the floor he finds a broken necklace that has a pig pendant on it…

Concerned at what this means, Paul hands it in to the police. When Aaron confirms that the jewellery is indeed Melanie’s, the police decide to take a far more serious view on her and Toadie’s disappearance.

Setting up cordons around Tess’ house, Police start to hunt for clues to see if they can confirm that Toadie and Melanie were actually there and see if they can find out where Tess has gone to.

When police find a splatter of blood on the wall outside the house, Terese fears the worst.

Forensic tests eventually confirm that the blood belongs to Toadie, devastating Terese and everyone fears the worse.

They question why Melanie and Toadie went to Tess’ house and how this is connected to Heath. Realising that this situation is much bigger than anyone initially imagined, Karl begins to worry for the safety of his daughter who has disappeared with a potentially dangerous criminal.

After hacking Holly’s phone, Haz thinks that he knows where Holly may be and he heads off into the outback with Mackenzie to try and save their friend.

Toadie and Melanie are missing. Toadie’s blood has been found. Melanie’s cherished pendant was on the floor of Tess’ house. Holly has lied to everyone around her about where she is and who she is there with. Now, Haz and Mack are flying right into the epicentre of the drama, with lives at risk…

‘Death in the Outback’ week continues on Wednesday, with the episode streaming on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime video from 7am. The week will reach its gripping conclusion on Thursday.
