In Wednesday’s episode, Neighbours revealed who had taken Haz’s old car after the wedding reception that had been tampered with by one of Wade Fernsby’s former prison friends.

In episodes earlier this week, we saw Wade Fernsby use a burner phone from his hospital bed to plot revenge against someone. Based on the information that Felix and Andrew Rodwell had, they presumed Wade was out to get Haz Devkar, who was responsible for the police catching and prosecuting him.

After the wedding, Felix noticed someone he recognised from prison hanging around Haz’s car. After he alerted Andrew, the found that the car had disappeared and based on the trail of fluid leading away from where the car was parked, it looked like the brake lines had been cut.

Haz and Mackenzie had left Erinsborough in a rental car, so were safely away, so who had taken the car?

When a report comes through of a car accident, Andrew and Felix rush to the scene to discover Terese was behind the wheel.

Unconscious, rescue crews battle to remove her from the vehicle and rush her to hospital.

As Terese regains consciousness, with ex-husband Paul Robinson at her side, she revealed that she was struggling with her feelings at the reception and so had offered to drive the car back to Ramsay Street rather than take the mini bus with everyone celebrating.

Wade’s cohort, Bowser, was quickly apprehended by the police and admitted to cutting the brake lines on the car under the instruction of Wade.

Terese, thankful for the fact that her injuries are minor, tells the hospital that Toadie should not be allowed in to see her under any circumstances. Paul stays by her side until she falls asleep.

Terese was almost a victim of Wade’s vendetta against Haz, but did the brush with tragedy bring Terese and Paul closer together?

Seeing the way that Felix cared for Terese and even showed concern for Wade, despite his actions, also made Remi question if Felix has truly changed from the last time he was in Erinsborough.

You can catch up with Neighbours on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video with new episodes streaming from 7am, Monday-Thursday.
