It has been a whirlwind of emotion for David’s family in the weeks following his unexpected death. Immediately following his death, coming to terms with Eden’s involvement, followed by the revelation that Paul was responsible for Eden tracking the group down at their holiday home.
Aaron has had a hard time, originally directing his anger towards David for choosing to prioritise Eden, then moving that anger onto Krista. That anger once again got redirected once Paul’s involvement was revealed. Unable to control the rage brewing inside, he boils over, lashing out when faced with a local vandal.
Distancing himself from Isla, struggling to step up to complete every day tasks and topped off by his rage, Nicolette finally snaps and calls Aaron out for his behaviour.
Rather than facing his responsibilities, Aaron disappears.
Whilst everyone else is worried for Aaron’s safety, Nicolette struggles to find sympathy for him. She understands that Aaron is acting out of deep grief, but she feels like he has abandoned their family, leaving her in the difficult position of explaining to Isla where her Daddy has gone, just weeks after losing David.
Isla appears concerned. David has gone, Aaron has gone, she now fears that Nicolette is going to leave her too.
Jane offers support to Nic to have the time and space to decompress, but for the first time since David dies, she manages to release her own feelings of grief.
This all unfolds in the episode due to air on Wednesday 21st February, but you can catch up on the current drama on Ramsay Street by watching new episode which stream from 7am, Monday-Thursday, on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
