It is a big week in Erinsborough as Ramsay Street prepare for Haz and Mackenzie’s wedding. There are a couple of potential issues with the wedding… firstly, Byron lied to Vera Punt about th date of the wedding. A more serious issue is the return of Wade Fernsby, who is in hospital following the prison riot. He is in prison after being tricked into capture by Haz… this timely return can’t be a good sign, can it?

Elsewhere, Toadie shocked his friends and family by announcing he is relocating to Colac. Nell isn’t ready to leave the only home she has known, she doesn’t want to leave Terese behind and, not to mention, JJ.

The Brennan-Stone co-parenting agreement was smashed to pieces last week. Jane threw Nic out of the house and Aaron wonders if he can trust Nicolette again. As the whole world seems to be against Nic right now, can she get back into her daughter’s life?

As always, we aren’t spilling all the beans, but let’s take a look at some of the big stories of the week, but you will need to watch all the episodes of Neighbours to find out everything that happens!

TROUBLE FOR THE REBECCHIS AS THEY PREPARE TO LEAVE RAMSAY STREET

With last week’s announcement that he wants to relocate his family to Colac, there is a significant amount of fallout for Toadie as his friends and family come to terms with his plan.

Nell is devastated to leave behind her life and especially her new boyfriend, JJ. She tells him about the planned move and the pair end up kissing… only to be walked in on by Toadie and Terese. They’ve been busted. The secret is out and Toadie is convinced that JJ is the only reason why Nell doesn’t want to leave Erinsborough.

Toadie repeats his fears that Nell is at the same age that Sonya was when she started to go off the rails and he doesn’t want the same thing to happen. Nell tells her father that she is a different person to her mum and won’t make the same mistake.

JJ AND DEX REIGNITE THEIR RIVALRY

After being caught kissing Nell ny Toadie and Terese, JJ comes clean to his family that he’s in a relationship with Nell. His mum’s are surprised, but Dex is disappointed and storms off.

Dex tells JJ how hurt he is, not only about Nell, but also that JJ chose to keep it a secret from him.

HAZ AND MACKENZIE TIE THE KNOT AND LEAVE ERINSBOROUGH

Byron goes across Erinsborough filming testimonials from Haz’s friends in an attempt to show them how Haz has become a valued member of the community in a hope that they will forgive him for his criminal past.

Everyone is hopeful, but then Amira delivers the crushing news, the videos didn’t work and his parents are not coming to Melbourne.

The wedding day arrives and Haz comes to terms with getting married without his parents. At the last minute, they change their mind and fly down. After an emotional reunion, it is time to get ready for the wedding, but not before the residents of the share house get together one final time. It’s the end of an era at 32 Ramsay Street.

The wedding goes off without a hitch and Haz and Mackenzie leave Erinsborough for a new life in Paris.

AN OLD FACE PLOTS REVENGE

Andrew visits Felix in hospital and discovers his brother’s new found faith. The brothers have a conversation on life after being discharged, but Andrew is completely oblivious to the fact that Felix is sharing a hospital room with Wade Fernsby.

Felix later overhears Wade using a burner phone to make a call. He is a little groggy, so doesn’t hear everything, but works out that Wade is planning to get payback and this is his ‘last chance to do so before they leave’.

Felix relays what he overhears to Andrew, who realises that Wade is platting revenge against Haz at the wedding. There’s no hard evidence, but to be on the safe side, Andrew plans for a subtle Police presence around the ceremony, but decides to not warn Haz and Mackenzie, not wanting them to worry.

Despite the threat, the ceremony goes off without a hitch and Haz and Mack leave Erinsborough, safely away from Wade.

Felix tells Andrew that he saw someone he recognised from prison hanging around Haz’s car at Lassiters. They go to check, but the car has already gone. When Andrew discovers a trail of fluid leading away from where the car was parked, he suspects foul play. The wedding couple left in a rental car, so if Haz and Mack haven’t taken the car, who has?

Desperately trying to track down who has the car, reports come in of a car accident.. it’s Haz’s car, but who is driving it?

AARON MAKES A DEMAND OVER ISLA

When Aaron is struggling to get Isla to go to bed, he admits defeat and calls Nicolette in to help. Nic hopes that this is a breakthrough in repairing their relationship and a return to co-parenting and starts doing research on primary schools for Isla.

Aaron worries that he has set a precedent for Nic constantly coming over to the house, but Leo warns him to be careful as he is in a precariously legal situation, not being Isla’s biological father.

After another tense situation between him and Nic, Aaron demands Nic to allow him to legally adopt Isla.

When Nicolette is reluctant to his request, iot only makes Aaron more concerned that Nic is planning to use Aaron’s unofficial status against him.

Jane interjects and takes Aaron’s side, causing Nic to wonder if Jane will ever support her in anything again.

Eventually, Nicolette says she will not stand in Aaron’s way in beginning the adoption process. She hopes that this is a step forward in building bridges and maybe means that she can move back into Jane’s house. Aaron tells her that it will be a very long time before he can trust her again.

VERA PUNT IS ON THE WARPATH

Vera bumps into Aaron and Leo when she is on her way to Haz and Mack’s wedding but is mortified to find out she is a day late. She quickly deduces that Byron purposely gave her the wrong information so that she wouldn’t be there.

Vera is deeply hurt and swears vengeance. Byron manages to calm Vera down when he tells her they have found a new person to include on the lease – Nicolette.

Vera is happy that she won’t be losing any money with a new resident at the house, but Krista is less than impressed. Since Nic has been crashing at the house, she has done nothing but leave a trail of mess behind her… Krista chooses to bite her tongue… for now.

KRISTA AND PAUL CONTINUE TO BUTT HEADS

Settling into her new role as Paul’s equal in the running of Lassiters, Krista takes it upon herself to redesign the office and Paul is unimpressed.

In an effort to drum up some publicity for the hotel, they decide to do a charity fundraiser. Krista comes up with lots of ideas and Paul knocks all of them back.

She challenges Paul to come up with his own ideas if he doesn’t like hers, of course, Paul can’t come up with anything at all.

Krista takes Terese’s advice to heart, that Paul respects those who stand up to him, so makes an executive decision. The charity event is going to be an all-male revue show.

Paul is adamantly opposed to it but realises he doesn’t have control over Krista anymore, so makes his own controversial decision, he is reinstating Nicolette as the manager of Harold’s. Krista is mortified.

TROUBLE AHEAD FOR ANDREW AND WENDY?

Trying to make an effort to repair their relationship, Andrew offers to join Wendy at a meditation session. Sadie, concerned for her parent’s marriage, spies on them from a distance with Byron.

After a rough start to the event, the ice breaks after Wendy passes wind. The pair can’t control their laughter and Sadie is delighted to see a lighthearted exchange between Andrew and Wendy.

Wendy has been receiving mysterious phone calls though and Byron is stunned when he later sees Wendy hugging Quinn. Is the Rodwell marriage on the rocks?

Can Aaron and Nicolette work through their differences? WIll Vera get revenge on Byron? Will Nell agree to a move to Colac? Who took – and crashed – Haz’s car?

New episodes of Neighbours will be available to stream on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video from 7am, Monday-Thursday.
