We haven’t learnt an awful lot about the Rodwell family since they arrived on Ramsay Street in 2022. Andrew, Wendy and Sadie rattle around number 26 (Originally, more than one child was mentioned, but never seen on screen – quickly forgotten about after the show was cancelled).

Next week we get an insight into Andrew’s side of the family after he receives communication from his brother, Felix, who is currently doing time in Warrinor Prison.

Felix is due for a parole hearing and he feels that having a secure home, staying with his Police Sergeant brother would be the best way to impress the parole board.

When he reveals all to Wendy, she is supportive and open to the idea of Fleix staying with them, but Andrew has his own concerns.

A few months back, Andrew was involved in a possible paternity case with the Varga-Murphy family after it was revealed that he had given a sperm donation to their mutual friend, Phillipa, who may have then passed the sample on to Cara Varga-Murphy. A simple DNA test eventually cleared the situation up, there was no match and Andrew was not the father of JJ. But missing pages in Phillipa’s journal left an air of mystery around what had actually happened. With Phillipa now dead, does anyone know what those pages contained?

Andrew is forced to admit that he is worried that Felix may also have given a donation to Phillipa – making him a possible candidate to be JJ’s father. Wendy says that they need to know the truth if Felix is to come to Erinsborough, so Andrew heads to the prison to meet his estranged brother.

Felix reassures Andrew that he never donated any sperm to to anybody. With that guarantee, Andrew agrees to let Felix live with him on Ramsay Street if his parole application is successful.

This all unfolds in the episode due to air on Monday, February 26th and new episodes land at 7am, Monday-Thursday on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
