As the day of baby Hope’s memorial arrives, the residents of Erinsborough rally around to support Krista. Saying farewell to her baby, it is a genuine struggle not to fall off the wagon, but being surrounded by friends and neighbours helps her through the day.

Paul hosts the ceremony, an intimate affair and Krista feels it is the perfect send-off for her daughter, managing to find a moment of peace amidst the chaos of her life.

One person absent from the ceremony is Terese. Knowing that Melanie will be there, Terese chooses to keep her distance, but offers to be a supportive friend to Paul in the way he has been supportive to Krista. Paul seems overly concerned about Terese’s wellbeing and Jane questions if Paul’s concern is genuine or is he looking for a way back in now that Terese and Toadie’s marriage has imploded?

Another notable absence is Chelsea. Riddled with guilt over causing Krista to lose the baby, she tells Paul that she can man the fort at the hotel while everyone attends the service. Whilst alone at the hotel Chelsea discovers that Paul has appointed someone to investigate what happened to cause the sauna door to lock, the event that resulted in Krista’s still birth.

When the investigator, Jeffrey Swan, informs Chelsea that she is directly implicated in his report, she makes an indecent proposal to him to keep her actions a secret. Can Chelsea’s sexual charms win this stranger over, or will Paul discover exactly what happened on that fateful day?

This drama will all play out on the episodes of Neighbours streaming on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes dropping at 7am, Monday-Thursday.
