Another drama-fuelled week in Erinsborough is behind us. Leo and Krista’s relationship appears to be in tatters, despite every effort by Paul to get them back together. Paul also seems to be getting very close to Krista… so often Paul’s meddling in his children’s lives ends up in disaster (and often a funeral) so can this be good for Leo and Krista that Paul is so involved? And Shannon the drug dealer… this can’t end well for poor Abigail.

Terese and Susan keep butting heads at Eirini Rising, can they work their differences out? The grand opening is only 2 weeks away, so Terese really needs to stop micro-managing Susan. This is especially so because Terese has a lot of other stuff on her plate. Toadie has moved back in to No.22 Ramsay Street and if she wants her marriage to be a success, she is going to have to put the work in, but with Melanie off on her big tour of the music festivals, that is one challenge she doesn’t have to face for now.

The Varga-Murphy family have had a challenging week… poor JJ had his heartbroken during his visit to see his biological father in prison. Is this the last we will see of Felix Rodwell? At work, Remi is tempted by the opportunity for a promotion at Erinsborough hospital and appears to have the support of one of her colleagues… are we the only ones that are seeing a few red flags here though?

Karl continues his health kick with Aaron in toe. A chance encounter with the “Young and Hot Men in Lycra” resurrected the legend of Doctor Pooper.. needless to say, Karl isn’t going to go down without a fight…

And Mackenzie… such a busy week. Riddled with guilt about the email she sent to Harlow comparing Haz to Hendrix.. she seems to have now realised how she actually feels about Haz and can’t face losing another lover. She bought the residents of Erinsborough together to save Harold’s from closure and has been taking diligent care of Haz. But Mack is busying herself so much, she didn’t notice Haz starting to move in bed.

We almost forgot about Vic Stone! What IS his story? Clearly he has been a bit of a rogue in the past… but why is he a secret millionaire? What DID Sadie see on his computer screen, was it his bank balance? You can also tell that Jane is scared… she obviously hasn’t quite buried all of her feelings for Vic… and he is a charmer. Mike is away with little chance of a return any time soon, can Jane control herself around her former husband?

Let’s take a look at what next week lines up for our friends and neighbours on Ramsay Street. As always, we have left some of the juiciest details out, so make sure you watch every day to see what happens!

LEO AND KRISTA REUNITE AFTER ABIGAIL’S LIFE IS PUT AT RISK

Leo is alarmed to discover that Abi has eaten some pills from a bag she found on the floor at Lassiters. As they rush the toddler to hospital there is concern, unless they know what the pills are, it is difficult for the doctors to take the correct action to save Abi’s life.

Krista, riddled with guilt, knows exactly what they are and where they came from and she steps forward to identify them as opioids that had been dropped by Shannon. This enables to doctors to administer a reversing agent, bring Abi back to health, but the drama won’t stop there.

A furious Leo confronts Shannon, telling her what happened and that the bag, complete with her fingerprints, has been passed onto the police and warns the drug dealer to stay well away from his friends and family.

Krista is relieved that she has seen the last of Shannon. Her self-loathing flares, realising that her actions were responsible for endangering Abigail. Krista is shocked when, rather than be angry at Krista, Leo says how proud he is that Krista stepped up to support him and Abi when it really mattered and the whole situation has made him realise that the two of them just “fit”. He realises that the two of them should be together and so the pair kiss, happily witnessed by Paul.

DOCTOR KARL SAYS FAREWELL TO ERINSBOROUGH HOSPITAL

After so many years dodging malpractice lawsuits at the hospital, Karl is excited for his final week there before he moves to Eirini Rising. He is expecting a huge fanfare for his departure, but feels extremely let down that no one seems to be acknowledging the face he is leaving.

Remi tells Karl that she has been successfully promoted to take over his role and excitedly invites him for a celebratory drink. Not realising this after-work drink is an attempt to lure him to The Waterhole for a surprise party, Karl feels dejected and stands Remi up, instead, meeting up with Aaron to head out on a bike ride.

When Remi gets a text from Karl saying he isn’t coming, Susan jumps into action to get Karl to his party. Eventually, after enlisting the support of Aaron, Karl arrives and is touched by celebration his friends and colleagues have put together for him.

As the evening progresses and the drink continues to flow, Dr. Gavin, who had been supportive of Remi’s application to take over the role, lets slip to Karl that he would like to get physical with Remi and Cara. This makes Karl very uncomfortable and he decides that Gavin’s comments need to be reported to HR, but decides it is best if newly-promoted Remi remains unaware.

TOADIE MIS-READS TERESE’S ACTIONS

When wealthy widow Shirley Burchmore expresses interest in moving to Eirini Rising, Terese is excited, this is just the kind of resident she needs to elevate the tone of the place and arranges an inspection for Shirley. In a bid to win the potential resident voer, Terese offers Shirley and her friends free legal services through Rebecchi Law if they sign on the dotted line.

Later that evening, Toadie pops his head into Terese’s bedroom to see is she is ready to head to Karl’s party. She thanks Toadie for agreeing to help get Shirley Burchmore’s contract over the line and gives him a thankful hug. Toadie completely misreads Terese’s intentions and moves in for a kiss, much to Terese’s surprise.

Toadie apologises and agrees to move slower, much to Terese’s relief, but is this the right way for the couple to go?

MACKENZIE IS LEFT OUT IN THE COLD

Mackenzie is stunned to learn that Haz’s sister, Amira has turned up at the hospital. When Amira learns that Mackenzie is responsible for putting Haz in hospital, she shuts Mack out and tells her to stay away.

Mackenzie, determined to not back down, confronts Amira and it turns into a heated debate. The two are so involved in their argument that neither realises that Haz is coming out of his coma.

Dr. Gavin assesses Haz and all signs are good, but states that only family can see Haz, much to Amira’s pleasure. Haz is overjoyed to see his estranged sister but also wants to spend time with Mackenzie.

Mackenzie manages to steal a brief moment with Haz where she tells him that whilst she is still processing his past, she now knows that she has feelings for him. Haz declares his love for Mackenzie and asks her if they can be together again.

Before Mack gets a chance to answer, Amira interrupts them. Alone with her brother, Amira tells Haz that almost losing him has made her family see the light and they want Haz back in their life. They want him to come home, there is no reason for him to be in Erinsborough anymore. Will Haz pick his family over Mackenzie?

After witnessing Haz and Mack together, Amira can’t help but admit that the couple have a great bond. When Haz admits that he wants to stay and see how things work out with Mack, Amira admits defeat, but announces that she will be staying in Erinsborough as support until Haz has made a complete recovery. That can only be a good thing, right?

KARL SPOTS THE REAL MYSTERY POOPER

Whilst out on a solo casual bike ride, Karl catches a glimpse of the real public pooper. He can’t quite see the face but he recognises that the perpetrator is wearing a jersey from the YAHMIL cycling group.Determined to clear his “Dr. Pooper” name, Karl enlists Aaron to help infiltrate the group and out the person responsible.

Putting on the lycra, Aaron does his best but fails to get any evidence on who the pooper is, forcing Karl to go to greater lengths to clear his name.

VIC’S BIG SECRET IS FINALLY EXPOSED

Byron continues to notice how Sadie is awkward when Vic is around and when Byron once again catches Vic and Sadie in an awkward situation together with Sadie in tears, he can only presume that Vic is giving her unwanted attention.

The truth is that Vic has realised that he has put too much of a burden on Sadie and has decided to come clean, admitting to his children the real reason he is in Australia.

Nic and Byron both struggle with what Vic tells them. Nic stays calm and supportive, but Byron disappears. Sadie is riddled with guilt that she had held this secret in and kept it from her boyfriend.

Byron bumps into Aaron who convinces him to go home and speak with his father, but when Byron returns home he explodes at Vic and shows how angry he is at everything he has done.

Will Mack and Haz be able to cope with Amira looking over their shoulders? Will Karl track down the pooper? Will Susan and Terese be able to find a way to work together? Can Toadie and Terese get past where they are with each other? What secret was Vic keeping from his children?

We will find out as Neighbours continues on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes dropping at 7am, Monday-Thursday.
