On day 3 of Outback week, Holly’s blissful romantic retreat takes a turn as she begins to realise that maybe everyone was right about Heath.

Concerned by his behaviour, Holly decides to go snooping in Heath’s belongings where she finds a notebook containing details of the money that he and Tess are syphoning from Lassiters.

When Heath returns, Holly takes the opportunity to look at his phone and try to make contact with the outside world, as her own phone has gone missing. When Heath catches her on the phone he loses it and reacts aggressively towards her. Holly tries to sweet talk Heath but he is having none of it.

She confronts Heath to try and find out what is happening at the cattle station, but he is evasive and cold towards her.

The penny is finally dropping for Holly that she is in danger.

Little does Holly know that danger is actually all around her and Toadie and Melanie have been kidnapped and transported to the cattle station and are tied up together in one of the old buildings.

Desperate to find out what Heath is up to, Holly hides in the back of his Ute to join him on his morning drive up to the cattle station where he will check in on Toadie and Mel.

Meanwhile, Haz and Mack have flown into Queensland, their flight gives them time to think about the situation they are in and how they have worked together to try and help their friend. Mack takes this moment to tell Haz she loves him, acknowledging that it may seem a weird time to say it… but Haz gets it and tells Mack that he loves her too.

When they land they still have a long drive to where they think Holly may be, but in this open barren wilderness, they end up getting completely lost, the GPS on their phones isn’t working and they have to spend the night sleeping in their rental car in the middle of nowhere.

Haz and Mack are completely lost. Toadie and Melanie are being held hostage. Holly has placed herself in danger by snooping on Heath and following him to the station. Time is running out.

Someone is about to die.

Death in the Outback week reaches a dramatic conclusion on Thursday with the final episode streaming on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video from 7am. Set your alarms, you are not going to want to miss this.
