Since Aaron, David and Nicolette returned to Erinsborough two months ago, it has been a rollercoaster of a time, so a weekend away with Leo and Krista should have been just the ticket for a chance to escape the drama that life on Ramsay Street often brings.
Arriving at the stylish mountain retreat, it quickly became obvious that things were going to run smoothly, Veronica McLain had followed them. Presuming that her husband Sasha was having an affair with Nicolette, she was convinced that she would catch them in the act. But with Aaron, David, Krista and Leo out on a walk, Nicolette was alone in the house.
Spooked by noises, Nicolette went to investigate, shocked to come face to face with her stalker. Alone, in the middle of nowhere, this was unlikely to end well.
Veronica calls out for Sasha, Nicolette tries to assure her that she has misinterpreted the situation and he is not there. But Veronica refuses to believe her…
Out on their bush walk, ths couples separate for some alone time. David and Aaron are blissfully happy. They have returned to Erinsborough, they are making plans to buy back No.32 and will hopefully be able to have another child to complete their family. The future is bright for them.
Leo and Krista make equally good use of their alone time, making their own plans for the future. About to kiss, they suddenly realise that they are not alone. It is Eden. Released on bail, somehow he has found out where Leo and Krista were. Even more confusingly, he knows that Krista is carrying his baby.
Feeling threatened, Leo jumps to Krista’s defence, but Eden lunges forward, pulling Krista to the ground. He then goes in for Leo, pinning him to the ground, he reaches for a rock, ready to pummel Leo’s skull. Krista is screaming for Eden to stop, but this is a dangerous man who wants Leo out of the picture.
Hearing Krista’s piercing screams, David and Aaron come running to the rescue. David sees Eden about to murder his twin brother.
Moments away from tragedy, David jumps on Eden to stop him from killing Leo. The two fall. But there is a sheer drop and Eden and David disappear over the cliff edge.
Was David quick enough to save Leo’s life? Will David and Eden survive the fall? Is Nicolette safe alone with Veronica? How did Eden know where Krista and Leo were? Most curiously, how did Eden know that Krista was pregnant… nobody outside of her immediate circle knew about the baby…
