It is official! It is time for a Ramsay Street Celebration as Haz and Mackenzie tie the knot.

Their relationship has been somewhat turbulent and almost ended after Haz got involved with cyber crimes again, resulting in Mackenzie running him over in her car and Haz falling into a coma. (Only in Erinsborough, hey?)

But everything was OK because it turned out that Haz was actually working undercover for the police and he recovered from his injuries quickly.

More recently, the couple truly bonded on their trip to the Outback to save their friend Holly, but when Mackenzie was shot by Holly’s boyfriend shortly before he got eaten by a crocodile… (again, stay with me here) it looked like maybe Haz and Mack wouldn’t get their happy ending.

Mack survived that initial injury, but fought for her life later in the week due to sepsis. When she was coming around, having been pumped with drugs, she muttered to Haz that she wanted to marry him in Paris.

Haz was convinced that it was just the drugs talking, but in Monday’s episode we saw Haz confide in Byron that he wants to marry Mackenzie, at the same time Mack confided in Sadie that she remembers what she said as she came back around but is too scared to admit to Haz that this is what she wants.

Another secret that Mackenzie is holding is that she has been offered a job in Paris that she wants to accept, but realises that a move to Paris could jeopardise her relationship.

A little bit of meddling from the housemates forces Haz and Mack to be honest with each other, she confesses about the job and they both declare their love for one another before, in unison, declaring that they want to get married.

In true Erinsborough fashion, time is not on their side… the wedding needs to happen before Mackenzie moves to Paris… in TWO WEEKS! So Mack’s friends will need to rally around her to make the wedding happen.

From these amazing spoiler pictures it looks like their plan comes together perfectly with an elegant Ramsay Street wedding surrounded by friends and family. The wedding of the year explains why Haz’s sister, Amira, is heading back to Erinsborough.

No Erinsborough wedding would be complete without Susan Kennedy as the officiant and in heartwarming scenes, Harold Bishop walks Mack down the aisle.

Many of Ramsay Street’s couples watch on lovingly, but Mackenzie’s boss, Toadie, is also in attendance as his own marriage is falling down around him, almost a year to the day since he got married himself.

In all, it’s a perfect day to celebrate love, but in true Neighbours style, the joy is short lived as terror rocks Erinsborough later that week.

The only question we have is, WHERE IS TREVOR?

You can watch the Neighbours Wedding of the Year on Tuesday, September 17th and new episodes of Neighbours are available to stream from 7am, each Monday-Thursday, on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
