Krista Sinclair is unknowingly being used in a plan to embezzle $10,000,000 from her family company.

When Tess Carmichael returned last week, Krista has been suspicious on what the purpose was behind her visit. Over the last couple of days though Tess has been nothing but supportive towards Krista making her feel at ease.

In Wednesday’s episode viewers learned that Tess’ generous behaviour was a cover up when it was revealed that she was behind the cancellation of a major booking at the hotel, costing them tens of thousands of dollars.

We also learned that Tess’ hot assistant, Heath Royce, is actually her lover and also in on the plan to bring Krista down.

More of their plan was exposed today (August 1st) when viewers learned that their visit to Erinsborough is a continuation of their plan to drain $10,000,000 out of SinCorp’s businesses and run away to Hawaii together.

It seems that Tess and Heath are setting Krista up to fail so that she will appear responsible for the missing cash.

Krista, energised by the new supportive relationship with Tess, has given her full access to the hotel’s financial accounts and taking on the advice and mentorship of the successful businesswoman.

Tess has recommended that Krista employ the services of a company to perform quality checks at the hotel with mystery shoppers. A seemingly innocent recommendation that now is tarnished with suspicion.

Krista, without support or guidance from Paul, is blissfully unaware that she is being used.

Krista may not be the only one getting used though, as Heath continues to show an interest in Holly Hoyland, an interest that is definitely reciprocated. Is she about to get herself involved in another difficult situation?

Heath seems anxious to take the money and jet off to Hawaii as soon as possible, Tess doesn’t want to rush things… can she trust Heath? This drama is all leading up to the much-anticipated ‘Death in the Outback’ week, where Heath takes Krista to the Outback without telling anyone else, Toadie and Melanie mysteriously disappear and Mack and Haz go in search for their friend… we know at least one person doesn’t make it back to Erinsborough alive.

The story continues next week with new episodes of Neighbours streaming on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video from 7am, Monday-Thursday.
