It’s official! David Tanaka is on his way back to Ramsay Street.

In a set of episode teasers just released, for the episode being released on November 23rd, it shows “David finds himself between a rock and a hard place”.

David hasn’t been seen since the 2022 finale. In new episodes of the show, all that we know is that David, his husband Aaron and mother of baby Isla, Nicolette, have all moved away. This was following a massive fall-out with David’s father, Paul Robinson, over him jilting Terese Willis at the altar.

The episode teasers do not make mention of the rest of the blended family, although Matty Wilson has been spotted on set and comments made by his wife on social media have left fans believing he is returning to the show. Additionally, in a recent interview, Stefan Dennis talked about the new actress playing Isla being a chatterbox, inadvertently confirming her return. Charlotte Chimes confirmed that she will not be returning to the role of Nicolette, but the character is expected to return, with a new actor in the role.

David’s return follows the shocking “Tell-All Flashback Week” which is set to air starting on November 13th, which fills in the gaps between the shows finale in July 2022 and the return when we saw Toadie and Terese marry, so it’s easy to presume that David’s return is linked to the revelations made that week.

New episodes of Neighbours drop at 7am, Monday to Thursday, on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
