After a traumatic few weeks, some of the residents of Ramsay Street head away on a break next week. Rather than getting away from all of their troubles, their troubles seem to follow them, including a shock returnee. 5 Erinsborough residents arrive, they are joined by two unfriendly-but-familiar faces, but not all of them will be going home.

In a newly-released trailer we see the gang arrive at an impressive mountain retreat. (We are guessing that Krista’s billions are bankrolling this trip). Aaron and David as well as the new couple of Krista and Leo look loved up on this trip, butu Nicolette isn’t alone. We see stalker Veronica McLain on the roof of the lodge, watching everything that is going on below her.

The trailer then shows a frantic Veronica screaming “Where are you?” inside the house with Nicolette, before the action moves outside, with Aaron and David hurriedly running through the bush, Krista falling to her knees and then a cliff-top brawl…

At that point, we see the second unwelcome visitor, Krista’s ex and former captor, Eden Shaw.

With a malicious “Hi Krista” and a glint in his eyes, it is obvious he isn’t there for a friendly chat.

Whilst fans are creating their own theories online, is everything as it seems? Neighbours is known for a few twists and turns and also loves a red herring or two. For the start of the 2022 season, we were teased with a death and shown scenes of a big location shoot for a funeral. Rather than the death of a regular character, this was the funeral of Britney Barnes, Leo’s partner, who was killed during the storm at Roxy and Kyle’s wedding.

So, who isn’t coming back this time?

More detailed teasers, spoilers and images will be released over the coming days, so make sure you check back to RamsayStreetUK regularly.

The holiday-from-hell will be seen on screen on January 31st and February 1st, with the episodes streaming on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video from 7am.
