As the dust settles after Outback week, some residents of Ramsay Street are still struggling to cope with the fall out. Terese has found herself newly single, Toadie continues to struggle with his mental health, despite having asserted to change his life and Holly is masking her feelings by spending the money she stole from Heath (who in turn stole it from Tess who stole it from Reece Sinclair!)

Haz and Mackenzie are getting married. In true Neighbours style, they have just two weeks to get the ceremony planned before they move to France, will everything go to plan?

And Felix Rodwell made a surprise reappearance last Wednesday after being stabbed in a prison brawl. This can’t be good news for the Rodwell or the Varga-Murphy families, can it?

Let’s take a look at some of the stories that will be gracing our screens in the next four episodes of Neighbours. As always, we have left some details out and there will definitely be a few surprises, so make sure you tune in every day to get all the unmissable drama from Ramsay Street.

TERESE AND PAUL START TO RECONNECT

It has been a tough couple of weeks for Terese, just as she was rebuilding her marriage with Toadie, he went and got himself kidnapped and she feared he had died. When they were reunited he told her their marriage was over and he moved out of the marital home.

It isn’t going to be easy for Terese to get over this, but she will do the only thing that she knows how to do. Work.

She throws he self wholeheartedly into the running of Eirini Rising, once again treading on the toes of Karl and Susan. Paul helps Terese realise that she is overstepping the mark and gives the Kennedys an apology, but Karl and Susan instantly see that Paul is having influence on Terese and the pair are spending too much time together at a time when Terese is struggling.

Paul supports Terese when she voices uncertainty about being able to go to Mackenzie and Haz’s wedding. Are her own feelings too raw to celebrate someone else’s love, especially so close to her own anniversary?

With a lot of time spent away from the hotel, even Leo and Krista recognise that Paul is prioritising Terese over his responsibilities at work.

TOADIE CONTINUES TO STRUGGLE WITH THE GHOSTS OF HIS PAST

Toadie accepts Mackenzie’s official resignation from her role at the law office. Mack confesses that although she will miss Erinsborough and the people that have become her family, leaving Erinsborough will give them a chance to start afresh, unburdened by everything that has happened to them whilst they have lived on Ramsay Street, a philosophy that resonates with Toadie.

He sees Paul and Terese spending time together and feels haunted by the presence of Sonya through the mural as well as Melanie’s face being plastered on the side of the Drinks Diva van, he can’t get away from his past.

Bumping into Paul, Toadie breaks his silence and tells Paul that the last thing that Terese needs is him crowding her. Paul happily reminds Toadie that if he was any authority on knowing what Terese needs, he would still be with her.

HAZ AND MACKENZIE START PLANNING THEIR WEDDING

WIth just two weeks to go, it is action-stations for Haz and Mackenzie in planning the wedding of the year.

Their friends rally around them and Holly orders a bunch of dresses to try on from an online service. Mack isn’t thrilled by any of them but acknowledges she is on a tight budget and a tight timeline, she is going to have to compromise.

She shows holly a picture of her dream dress, but it is way out of her league, price-wise. But Holly, secretly flush with Heath’s stolen money, goes ahead and buys the dream dress for Mackenzie.

Byron and Krista set about trying to find new housemates for when Haz and Mack leave, but Byron opens up to Haz about how much he is going to miss his best friend and how much life will change with the share house gang breaking up. Haz honours Byron by asking him to look after Trevor until they can arrange to move him to Paris, of course, Byron accepts.

When Vera Punt hears about the wedding, she invites herself to the event, but Byron is one step ahead of her and gives her an incorrect date for the ceremony to make sure the day isn’t ‘Punted’… Vera will not be happy.

Haz’s sister, Amira, returns for the wedding. Whilst she is happy and positive on the surface, Nicolette sees that something is being hidden. Amira eventually admitting to Nic that her parents haven’t forgiven Haz as much as he thinks and they are not planning on coming to the wedding.

Mack is devastated when she overhears this confession and decides that they need to tell Haz, but seeing how happy and upbeat he is planning the wedding, Mack doesn’t want to burst his bubble. Amira wishes that her parents could see the wonderful life that Haz has built for himself in Erinsborough and how much he is loved by his friends and neighbours. If they could see who Haz was now, they may be a little more forgiving.

Byron comes up with a great idea. He decides to collect video messages from everyone who knows Haz, talking about how much they love him, may just convince his parents that Haz is a reformed character… it’s worth a try…

HAS FELIX RODWELL CHANGED?

At the end of last week we saw Remi discover that a patient at the hospital, critically injured following a brawl at the local jail, was Felix Rodwell. Despite Andrew asking Wendy and Sadie to not involved, Wendy went to the hospital to see if she could patch up the broken relationship between the brothers.

Wendy speaks with Felix and is shocked by his humility. When Andrew finds out that Wendy went to the hospital, Wendy pleads with Andrew to make the effort, she really feels that Felix is a different person to when he was last here.

Andrew gives in and speaks with Felix, learning that the stabbing happened when Felix stepped in to try and save fellow inmates and some of the prison officers. Because of his heroic actions at the prison, Felix is being considered for an early release.

Andrew makes arrangements to help Felix reintegrate into the community. There is a place at a half-way house in West Waratah and Andrew will help financially until Felix can find a job. Felix is overjoyed by his brother’s assistance, but Andrew tells him not to confuse assistance with forgiveness. The generosity comes with conditions. In return for Andrew’s support, he needs to stay away from the Rodwell and Varga-Murphy families, to which Felix agrees.

Felix hopes that in time, he can be forgiven and earn redemption… in prison, it appears that Felix has found religion…

Andrew shares the news with the Varga-Murphy family about Felix’s impending release, leaving JJ feeling confused. He confides in Nell about his turmoil about Felix and their conversation leads to the young couple’s first kiss.

NICOLETTE’S TRUTH IS EXPOSED

When Isla spills a smoothie over Nicolette’s phone, there is panic. Nic’s phone isn’t backed up and teh phone is full of pictures and videos of her family before David died. Haz steps in and offers to help recover the data.

Transferring everything over, Haz asks Aaron to look after the laptop while he works. Aaron notices the files moving over and one of them is all of the notes Nic made about Aaron’s behaviour.

Aaron immediately concludes that Nic was plotting a custody battle for Isla, something that Nicolette denies. But Aaron puts the pieces together and realises that Kiri left because of Nic’s attitude towards Aaron and these hidden files. Nicolette pleads her innocence but everyone sides with Aaron, even Jane is forced to admit that Nic is the one who is repeatedly untrustworthy.

Leo is disgusted by Nic’s behavior and forces her into being a silent partner in Yorokobi, he doesn’t want to work with her any more.

Surely things can’t get any worse for Nicolette?

HOLLY’S DECEPTION IS EXPOSED

Holly continues to live off of the stolen money from Heath. She is living her best life and continues to treat her friends and family to lavish treats. Her behaviour arouses suspicions and concerns, but nobody can possibly guess where the cash actually came from.

She lies to Karl and Susan saying that she sold the necklace that Heath bought her and that is why she is a little better off than normal, but she is concerned that people are getting suspicious.

She returns to the Kennedy house to relocated the stash of cash from Karl’s greenhouse to somewhere safer, but is caught red-handed by Wendy.

Holly admits that the cash came from Heath but tries to justify keeping the money as compensation for what Heath put her through. The theft will be covered by insurance so no one is going to lose out. But Wendy isn’t convinced. She tells Holly that unless she goes to the Police, she will go to Karl and Susan as well as reporting what she saw to Andrew.

Backed into a corner, Holly gives an envelope of cash to Andrew. But when he finds out that the envelope only contains $10,000, he wonders where the rest of the money is as there is far, far more than that still missing.

In exchange for Holly’s honesty, Andrew and Wendy promise not to mention anything to Karl and Susan. Holly is happy. She isn’t going to get into trouble with her family or the police… and no one will find out that she has kept a huge stash of cash from the money that Heath stole. The $10,000 was just to throw Wendy off the scent.

With a new sense of confidence, Holly goes car shopping and looks at a pretty high-spec model worth $50,000….

How long can Holly hide the rest of the cash before being found out? Are Terese and Paul on a course to get back together? How much longer can Toadie cope with his struggles? Has Felix Rodwell really become a better person? Will Haz get his parents to the wedding?

These episodes will all air this week, starting Monday, with new episodes of Neighbours streaming from 7am, Monday-Thursday on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
