Since their arrival in Erinsborough, a number of secrets have been bubbling under the surface with the Varga-Murphy family. Whilst JJ and Dex battle with their secret over JJ’s paternity, Cara and Remi have been keeping a secret from the boys. Cara had exposed dodgy dealings with her former employers, the Linwell Brothers, which was part of the reason that the family moved from Werribee, fearing reprisals from the brothers.

Last week Cara suspected that a ceiling fan she had just installed above the outside terrace of The Waterhole had been sabotaged, when it crashed onto the table below. Later in the week a brick was thrown through their car window on Ramsay Street. Fearing that this is just the beginning, Remi has convinced Cara to install a security system in their new home, but then Cara receives a call, summoning her to be a witness in the WorkSafe tribunal against the Linwells.

The Varga-Murphys know that the fan and the car is just a small part of what could happen if Cara testifies against them. Fearing the worst, Cara hugs Remi, stating “We know how dangerous they can be”.

We then see a car with blacked out windows parked on Ramsay Street opposite No.30. Is it the Linwell Brothers? Are the Varga-Murphys in trouble? How far will the Linwell Brothers go to stop Cara from testifying?
