SPOILERS: THIS ARTICLE REFERENCES THE UNMISSABLE DRAMA IN EPISODES OF NEIGHBOURS SET TO AIR BETWEEN MONDAY 28TH NOVEMBER AND THURSDAY 31ST NOVEMBER
Well, well, well, Vic is playing both end of the field, arranging dinner with Jane followed by dessert (wink, wink) at Melanie’s place.
He probably wasn’t expecting that kiss… so how will Vic respond?
That isn’t all that is happening in Erinsborough as Terese has made a return to drinking… that has lead to a lot of lying to cover up her actions, but how much longer can she do that for?
Then there is Felix, bad boy to good boy and then back to suspected bad boy… surprisingly, it was Cara who jumped to his rescue… are the Varga-Murphys ready to let him back into their lives?
Lets take a look at some of the action happening next week on Neighbours, as always, we have left some parts of the story out, so you will have to tune in to find out EXACTLY what happens.
KARL FINDS HOLLY IN A COMPROMISING SITUATION
Following her arrest for the theft of Heath’s money, Holly has to undergo a psychological assessment prior to her sentencing. Clearly emotionally drained by the experience, Karl and Susan privately worry on what will happen if Holly gets a custodial sentence for her actions.
Karl finds Holly engrossed in her report which labels her as a ‘traumatised individual as a result of a troubled childhood’. Karl is beyond frustrated as it makes it seem as though she grew up without any parental love or support…. (Come on Karl, you saw her about twice when she was growing up and, well, then there is Izzy…)
When Holly leaves the house at night, Karl is concerned for her wellbeing and tries to find where she is and begins searching Erinsborough. It doesn’t take long to find her at the Tram, where she is curled up asleep with Felix.
As the tram door shuts, the pair awaken to see Karl’s judgmental glare beaming down on them…
Holly tells Karl that Felix has just been an emotional support for her in dealing with the trauma, her panic attacks and the results of her psych assessment. Realising that Felix was there for Holly when she felt she couldn’t turn to her own father, Karl offers an apology.
When Holly returns home she hugs Karl and assures him that the report doesn’t include all the things she loves about Karl and even Izzy, leaving him reassured.
JANE AND VIC REUNITE
Following Jane’s kiss, Vic is shocked that his ex-wife wants to rekindle their relationship.
Jane calls a family meeting and tells them all about the moment that she shared with Vic, but then has the realisation that Vic never said anything in reply and just left the house quickly.
Vic, meanwhile, breaks the news to Melanie and she is devastated. She keeps her hurt covered and encourages Vic to get back with Jane.
When Vic returns to Jane’s house, she plants another kiss on him. Just as this happens, Nic, Byron and Aaron walk in on the couple and are shocked by what they see… and even more shocked when Vic confirms that they are going to give their relationship another go. Byron is not happy.
TERESE COVERS UP THE TRUTH
Returning from her secret multi-day bender, Terese is shocked to see that the front garden of her house is fully landscaped and extremely bare. Checking back, she realises that the landscaper did exactly what she had asked him to do… but, of course, she had sent the email to him whilst drunk….
Desperate to cover up her mistake, Terese lies to Susan and says that she loves the new look of the house. The lies grow deeper when Terese also talks about the amazing time she had away with Tyler and Piper and got to help them out with some renovations of their own.
Cara and Remi reach out to Toadie and invite Nell back to Erinsborough to join them for a family dinner, terese agrees that Nell can stay with her for the night afterwards.
Whilst Terese feels everything closing in on her, she manages to put on a smile for Nell and make it seem like everything is fine, but Paul notices her facade crack from a distance. He is concerned and becomes moreso when Nell asks him if he thinks Terese is OK.
Whilst Nell is out at the Varga-Murphys, Terese, home alone, goes to open a new bottle of wine. She battles her demons and stashes the bottle away without drinking any.
Paul, concerned for Terese, tries to check in with Piper about Terese’s visit but can’t make contact with her. Aaron reveals that Piper and Tyler have been in Hawaii.
The truth washes over Paul. Terese was never in Adelaide.
Nell returns home from dinner at the Varga-Murphys and tells Terese how proud she is of her, before heading to bed. It is all too much for Terese, she grabs the bottle of wine she stashed earlier and retreats to her own bedroom to drink in privacy, hating herself for letting the demons win.
FELIX MAKES A SURPRISING OFFER
Even though the ice is thawing between Felix and the Varga-Murphys, they still feel unsettled having him in their orbit.
Discussing their IVF journey, results come back that Cara’s fertility is looking good and so there is a chance this could work. Dex overhears his mothers talking about selling their prize trip to New York. He gets the wrong end of the stick and thinks they need to sell it to pay for his education, not realising it is about paying for IVF treatment.
In an attempt to reduce pressure on the family, Dex applies for a job at Grease Monkeys. When the interview goes well, an excited Dex impulsively invites Felix to a family dinner celebrating Cara’s last day at university.
Cara and Remi are shocked when Felix turns up, but decide to go with the flow to show solidarity to the kids. The evening goes well until JJ lets slip that there is talk of the couple having another baby. At the end of the night Felix casually drops a bomb. If they do decide to have another baby, he would happily donate his sperm…
Remi, disgusted at Felix’s offer, tells him in no uncertain terms that it will never happen, the offer was highly inappropriate.
Andrew learns about Felix’s dinner with the Varga-Murphys and is pleased it went well, but is then floored when he learns about Felix’s offer. After talking to Remi, Andrew realises that the tide has turned and wonders if it might be the right thing to do to invite Felix to move in with him.
Cara discusses Felix’s offer with Aaron and asks for advice on his experience with Nicolette. This conversation makes Cara want to discuss everything again with Remi, but Remi falls asleep before Cara can broach the subject.
TERESE’S ACTIONS LEAVE LIVES AT RISK
Recovering from another drink bender, Terese fails to show up for a woodworking activity at Eirini Rising. She eventually turns up, hungover, snapping when Susan insinuates that Terese is dropping the ball.
Struggling through the session, there is problem after problem for Terese, which she struggles to deal with. At the end of the session, Paul arrives and confronts her about her lies of being in Adelaide. Terese blows up at Paul – accusing him of not being there when she needed him.
Desperate to get home, Terese unknowingly damages a gas pipe, causing contamination across the development. Pandemonium breaks out, Gino tries to help residents escape and Susan is desperately trying to get a hold of Terese, but she is passed out drunk at home.
As a result of the gas leak, one resident is rushed to hospital. Susan and Karl are frantic and concerned that they can’t find Terese to let her know what has happened.
Susan reaches out to Paul to see if he can help track Terese down. Acting on a hunch, Paul heads to Ramsay Street and his worst fears are proven right when Terese answers the door in a drunken state.
Devastated by the news of what has happened at Eirini Rising, Terese rushes to the hospital, lying and saying that a strong sleeping pill meant she didn’t hear Susan’s calls.
Terese later discovers that a car caused damage to the gas pipe and Terese vows to track down the person responsible. Paul takes Terese home and notices a cracked light on her car. Terese has no idea how it happened, but Paul puts two and two together quickly.
Realising the extent of her drinking, Paul offers to help Terese cover up what she did and Terese accepts his help.
HALLOWEEN LEADS TO A SCARY REALISATION FOR THE SHARE HOUSE
It is almost Halloween and Sadie decided the share house needs a party. Byron and Nicolette shut her down, they are both working that night. Not to be dissuaded, Sadie suggests a daytime Halloween party instead!
They invite all of the neighbours and – in the interest of keeping the peace – even invite Vera Punt.
The party goes well until Aaron sees that Rhett has come along. He tells Nicolette that Rhett lied about his reasons for being at the open house and that they shouldn’t trust him.
Vera is having the time of her life at the party and drunkenly suggests that she should move into the share house. Byron and Nicolette are not onboard with the idea… but then Vera admits that she is about to become homeless. Rhett sold her house for her.
On hearing this, Aaron realised that Rhett lied to keep Vera’s confidence, rather than for a more sinister reason. He approaches Rhett and apologises for his reaction.
Now Nic and Byron are in a quandary, Vera is about to be homeless… what are they going to do?
Will Vera move into No.32? WIll Paul and Terese be able to keep a secret? Is Cara changing her mind about Felix?
