With Christmas just around the corner, the residents of 32 Ramsay Street decided to kick the festivities off early, having a friend’s Christmas before having to endure their families on Christmas Day and invited Sadie and Holly along too.

Mackenzie revealed to Sadie that her gift to Haz is a handmade scarf, but she questioned if such a personal gift is a little inappropriate, considering Mack’s feelings for him. Mackenzie dismissed Sadie’s concerns but, was this gift really the right way to go?

Elsewhere, Holly admitted that their impromptu early Christmas celebration means that her main gift for Haz hasn’t arrive yet, so he will only get his stocking fillers at their lunch.

When the gift giving started, the wine flowed, festive tunes played and everyone was loving their day and the gifts given. Holly saw how touched Haz was at the thought, time and energy that Mack had put into the scarf and her small gifts paled in comparison. When Haz’s gift to Mackenzie was an equally thoughtful gift, a personalised journal that she had been desperate for, jealousy washed over her face. She can’t afford for Haz and Mack to get close.

Later in the afternoon, coming back in from the pool, Haz found that his new scarf had been ripped to shreds and jumped to the conclusion that Trevor has returned to his old ways, ruining the gift. Holly looked extremely guilty, was Trevor really to blame for the destruction?
