Sharon Marshall, Soap Queen on ITVs ‘This Morning’ and also a writer on Emmerdale and EastEnders, has announced that the show will be hosting their own Soap Awards this week and you have got a chance to vote for Neighbours.
Sharon is a huge fan of soap and had lamented that ITV had dropped the British Soap Awards for 2024 and took to Twitter to ask her followers who they thought should have won an award this year.
With a great response from fans, Marshall announced that ‘This Morning’ would be hosting their own mini-Soap Awards on Wednesday, 29th May as part of her regular soaps spot.
Neighbours, sadly, only gets one nomination in the Best Soap category, missing out on nominations for Best Villain, Best Family, Best Soap Actor and Best Storyline. This means though that you get the chance to cast your vote for Neighbours!

You can vote on the ‘This Morning’ app which is available to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the link to the Soap Awards voting is on the front page of the app and away you go!
Make sure you cast your vote as soon as possible as Sharon will be announcing the winners in her soap spot during Wednesday’s episode of ‘This Morning’.
As Radio Times have excluded overseas soaps from their own Soap Awards, this is your one chance to be heard as a Neighbours fan this year.
