Following the revelation that Cara had gone behind Remi’s back when conceiving JJ, tensions had been running high in the Varga-Murphy household, to the point where Remi left to live with her parents for a while to clear her head.
After Remi returned yesterday, the entire household was still walking on eggshells and JJ and Dex decided that they needed to take action to bring their parents closer together again.
The boys decided to lay on a romantic dinner in the sunroom of No. 30. Dressed to the nines, Remi and Cara arrive and at first the conversation is stalled, but the romantic setting breaks the ice. When JJ plays the part of a rude waiter, they realise that the boys have recreated their first date at Ciao Appetito, an Italian restaurant renowned for the rudest waiters with the best food. Checked tablecloths, italian music and candlelight, the scene is set.
A few glasses of wine in, the couple reminisce on the night they met and what made them fall in love. When Cara says that she was to rekindle the spark in their relationship, Remi admits that her trust has taken a knock, but she wants that spark back too.
Cara is adamant that she will earn that trust back, the ladies look deeply at each other and end the evening with a kiss.
