Majella Davis is the newest addition to the Ramsay Street cast playing the troubled daughter of a billionaire, Krista Sinclair. In her short 3 weeks in Erinsborough she has lived under a pseudonym, extorted money from Melanie, was presumed murdered, discovered in the basement of a squat and is currently trying to overcome drug addiction. Never say that things don’t move fast in Neighbours!

Whilst the role of Krista Sinclair is Majella’s first major acting role, it isn’t the first time she auditioned for Neighbours.

In a “Ramsay Street Revelation”, a short interview video shared by the show on their social media channels, Majella revealed that she has auditioned for the show twice before, so we almost saw her in Erinsborough in very different guises.

Before being successfully cast this year, Majella auditioned for the roles of Chloe Brennan and Nicolette Stone. Of course, April Rose Pengilly and Charlotte Chimes (Now Hannah Monson) landed those two roles. With what we have seen so far of Majella as Krista, she was worth waiting for!

During the video she also shared what it was like working with Mischa Barton.

“I knew Mischa was going to be on the show, I knew my character’s name. I saw on the sheet, ‘Mischa Barton’ and I was like ‘That’s nice’. And then it says Reece Sinclair. I was like, ‘Sinclair? Huh?’ and I found out that she was my sister!”

Majella went on to say that Mischa was lovely, very welcoming and excited to work with her.

She promised lots of exciting stories coming up for her character, who she describes as fun and eccentric, but also revealed that Krista does have a redemption story coming up, following her slightly unorthodox arrival into Erinsborough.

We have already seen Melanie offer an olive branch to Krista and former friend Holly looks set to make amends.

We are really excited to see what Majella and Krista will get up to on Neighbours!

You can check out the latest episode of Neighbours on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video with new episodes landing at 7am, Monday-Thursday.
