Neighbours have shared the first images of Paul Robinson’s return to Ramsay Street in the latest set of episode teasers and spoiler images.

In the show, Paul has been in New York City with sister Lucy, following the death of his beloved cousin, Rosemary Daniels. It was perfect timing following the collapse of his relationship with Chelsea Murphy, who had been exposed as being responsible for the incident in the sauna that caused Krista to lose her unborn child.

In real-life, Stefan’s temporary departure from the show was a planned extended holiday, but during his time off he was involved in a water-skiing accident which resulted in concussion and meant he could not return to filming as planned, following the Christmas break.

When we interviewed Stefan back in February he was at the end of his unexpected leave and explained he had hit his head badly twice during an incident whilst water skiing.

With some swift rewriting, Paul’s absence has felt completely natural and no one has questioned why Paul wanted to grieve both his cousin and his failed relationship away from Ramsay Street.

The first mention of Paul being back in Erinsborough is in the episode due to air on Thursday, 8th August, when it says that ‘Paul receives and offer too good to be true’. We don’t know what that offer is, but we know that Paul doesn’t like to ever say no to a good deal.

The first images we see of Paul are from the episode scheduled to air the follow week on August 13th, with Paul speaking with both Haz and Mackenzie, separately. In that episode we are told that ‘Paul looks to the future’ and at the same time, we are told that ‘Haz considers a major reboot’.

Considering the unusual scene of Haz and Paul in serious discussion, are these two things connected?

Detailed episode spoilers will be released the week before these episodes air, but we are so glad to see Paul back where he belongs, ruling over his kingdom at Lassiters.

New episodes of Neighbours stream on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video from 7am Monday-Thursday.
