In the latest set of spoiler images, Neighbours has confirmed that Nell Rebecchi will be making a surprise (or not so much of a surprise) return to Ramsay Street later this month.

Last week we saw the entire Rebecchi family leave Erinsborough for a new life in Colac after Toadie’s mental health struggles which resulted in the breakdown of his marriage to Terese Willis.

When Toadie first first suggested moving to be closer to his parents, Angie and Big Kev, his daughter Nell was resistant, not wanting to leave her school but also not wanting to lose the connection she has with her two stepmothers, Terese and Melanie. Eventually, Nell agreed to the move, leaving town with her father and half-brother.

Of course, in recent weeks we have also seen Nell’s first relationship blossom with neighbour JJ Varga-Murphy. When the plan to move to Colac was announced, the pair vowed to keep a long distance relationship going, but it seems that may be harder to do in reality and we see Nell make a return to Erinsborough on October 21st.

In the two images we see Nell reconnecting with JJ but also spending time with Terese. Is Nell confiding how unhappy she is in Colac or is Nell enjoying the relocation?

The day following the Rebecchi family departure, Nell was removed from the opening credits along with Toadie and Hugo, making viewers believe that Nell may be gone for good.

Some eagle-eyed fans had noted that Ayisha Salem-Towner who has played Nell since the show returned last September, was seen on recent behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram and Tik Tok, making them question if Nell’s departure was a permanent one.

So, we will have to wait and see why Nell is back so soon.

New episodes of Neighbours are released at 7am, Monday-Thursday on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video. Nell’s return can be seen on October 21st.
