The pictures show Sharon sharing a coffee in the No.82 with Nell Rebecchi (Ayisha Salem-Towner). Sharon was a close friend of Nell’s stepmother, Melanie Pearson, back in the 1980s, so does she hold the key to Melanie’s whereabouts? We have already seen Nell reveal that she is not happy with her father’s marriage to Terese Willis and that she is keen to see Melanie return.

Although Toadie has revealed that Melanie left as she felt she couldn’t be a good mother to Nell and Hugo, we don’t know the details of what happened between the couple and it is clear that Nell feels that Melanie was the stepmother she needed. Melanie has has little contact with the residents of Ramsay Street since she walked out a year ago, so does Sharon return with information to unlock the mystery?

Lucinda Cowden who plays Melanie has confirmed on social media that Melanie will be back, so what part will Sharon play in that?

Sharon originally arrived in Erinsborough in July 1988 (Australia Pace) as the younger sister of Bronwyn Davies (Rachel Friend). Initially living at No. 32 Ramsay Street with Bronwyn, Jane Harris (Annie Jones) and Mrs. Mangel (Vivien Grey). She was involved in a number of stories across her 2 years on the show and was responsible for a huge fire which destroyed Daphne’s Coffee Shop. She also made enemies with Lucy Robinson (Melissa Bell) embarking on a love triangle with Nick Page (Mark Stevens) which resulted in Sharon pushing Lucy into the iconic Lassiters pool.

Sharon left the show to move to New Zealand with sister Bronwyn and her fiance, Henry Ramsay (Craig McLachlan).
