Chelsea Murphy has managed to become the villain you love to hate. Ever since she arrived in Erinsborough she has had her sights locked on Paul Robinson, clearly just for his money and power.

Being in his orbit at the time that David died, Chelsea took the opportunity while Paul was struggling to secure her position in his life and use coercive control to keep other people at a distance.

Following the life-threatening situation for Krista, being locked in a Sauna which resulted in her losing the baby she was carrying, Chelsea is on the defensive. Of course, viewers know that Chelsea was responsible for orchestrating that situation, but as Paul becomes angry and demands to get to the bottom of why it happened, Chelsea goes into panic mode to make sure the truth is never revealed.

She points the finger at former hotel-employee Penny, who is overseas and so not able to defend herself. After all, Krista fired her last week, so there was a grudge to bear, For Chelsea, it seems like an obvious person to deflect the guilt onto.

Paul has been a rock to Krista, rushing her to the hospital and being by her side.. a truly supportive friend at a time of need. It is a million miles away from just a few weeks ago when he was trying to run her out of town. That hasn’t gone unnoticed by Leo, who is impressed by the way his father has stepped up.

When Paul asks Leo to move back into The Penthouse, Leo says that he will consider it.

A delighted Paul tells Chelsea that he feels like his family is coming back together again with the possibility of Leo returning home… he also lets slip that Terese’s return from Adelaide is imminent. After working so hard on keeping Paul to herself for so long, Chelsea is scared that Paul is getting his old support network back.

Fearful that there will be no place for Chelsea once Leo and Terese are back in Paul’s life, what drastic action will she take to make sure she keeps her claws in him?

This all plays out in the episode scheduled to air on Wednesday April 3rd, but you can catch new episodes of Neighbours streaming on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video from 7am Monday-Thursday.
