It is the final week of Neighbours for 2024 and as Ramsay Street prepares to celebrate Christmas, there is plenty of drama, returning faces, shocks, surprises and so much more.

Of course, this week features a very special episode on Monday featuring Paul and Terese in a two-hander episode as they search for Leo, but can this couple spend the time together to also sort out their complicated relationship?

But there is a lot more to come, so lets take a look at next week in Erinsborough. As always, we have left some of the details out so make sure you watch to find out everything that happens!

NICOLETTE AND YAZ’S RELATIONSHIP BECOMES A ROLLERCOASTER

After a successful second date, Nicolette invites Yaz to join her at the Piano Bar Christmas Carol Open Mic event. Nicolette’s first performance impresses Yaz, but as the second song begins, Yaz becomes visibly upset and rushes out of the bar.

Following her out of the bar, Nicolette learns the truth, Yaz recently lost her brother and is grieving, with that song bringing back childhood memories. Without revealing that the brother was Heath, the two come closer together and their bond grows. After a night of passion, Nic awakens to find Yaz has left the hotel room? Nicolette fears that Yaz regrets what happened and left the room to avoid having to face her in the morning.

Unbeknownst to Nic, Yaz has gone on a midnight mission, she has broken into therapist Rhonda Del Rubio’s office to read Holly’s file.

Disappointed at Yaz’s apparent rejection, Aaron challenges Nicolette to confront Yaz to find out what is going on. When Yaz comes up with an excuse why she left the room, Nic is appeased and hopeful that this relationship is going somewhere and invites Yaz to join them for Christmas Day.

When Yaz discovers that Holly will be at the family Christmas celebration, she backs out, just sending Nic a text, leaving Nicolette hurt and confused once again.

VERA FACES A LONELY CHRISTMAS

After learning that Max is being thrown out of the house, Vera tries to help the residents of the share house bond and plans a rather unique Christmas Day brunch and won’t take no for an answer from her house mates.

Fed up of Vera lording over them and forcing them to socialise with her, Byron, Sadie, Nicolette and Max all agree that Christmas should be about sending time with family, not hanging out with Vera. The gang are unaware that Vera hears every word they say and walks away devastated.

WIthout letting them know she overheard the conversation, Vera cancels the brunch, saying she has other plans. When Max arrives home early, he discovers a dejected Vera sitting at home alone and vows to helps her celebrate the day.

NICOLETTE AND AARON BOND OVER ISLA

It’s official, the paperwork has come through and Aaron is now Isla’s father. Aaron is incredibly moved when Nic presents him with the adoption paperwork in a frame and Jane is touched by the lengths that her daughter has gone to in an attempt to reunite her family unit. Filled with Christmas spirit, Jane invites Nic to move back in to No.24, making the family complete again.

KRISTA GIVES SEBASTIAN AN ULTIMATUM THAT LEADS TO TRAGEDY

With Sebastian back in Erinsborough, Krista tracks him down to try and find out the truth about the money he claims to owe to loan sharks. Adamant the debt is real, Sebastian begs for the extra $20,000. Krista offers to give it to him on the condition that he goes clean. Seb tells her that he can’t promise that and once again disappears, setting up camp in an empty unit on Power Road.

Krista is left devastated that her friend chose to walk away from her.

On Christmas Day, Sadie and Byron are walking along Power Road when they run into Max picking up food for Vera… as they catch up, Sebastian crosses the road heading back to his impromptu home. A car speeds up targeting Seb, but Max and Sadie are in the way and there is a sickening thud as the car plows through the group.

HOLLY SPIRALS AS SHE RECEIVES A MESSAGE FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE

After Yaz’s late night visit to Rhonda’s office, she is newly armed with Holly’s deepest and darkest thoughts which she is going to try and use to manipulate her. Yaz tries to trick a clearly vulnerable Holly into saying something incriminating, but wanting to keep work separate from her private life, Holly doesn’t say anything about what happened in the outback.

Going through Heath’s text messages, he sees an exchange where Holly discusses her favourite, very expensive, designer perfume. Yaz manages to get a bottle of the perfume and gets it delivered to Holly on Christmas Day. When Holly opens the box, she is confused to be getting such an expensive gift… but then she freaks out when she notices a gift card signed by Heath…

THE VARGA-MURPHYS MAKE A SHOCK DISCOVERY EN-ROUTE TO NEW YORK

When an amazing flight deal comes up to New York, the Varga-Murphy family can’t say no, even though it means flying on Christmas Day and they hurriedly plan their trip.

At the airport, the family are excited as they prepare to board their flight, but Cara is distracted, she sees a familiar face in the distance. It’s her sister, Chelsea… and she is pregnant.

Chelsea disappears into the distance and Cara can’t believe what she just saw.

This is the end of Neighbours for 2024… the show will be back on January 6th when we will hopefully get an answer to some of the cliffhangers.

Why is Chelsea back? Whose baby is she carrying? Will everyone survive the car crash? Willy Holly discover where the perfume came from?

All will be revealed in the new year when there will be plenty of 2025 unmissable drama from Down Under.

The first set of spoilers and teasers for 2025 will be available on Ramsay Street UK from December 23rd.
