Toadie Rebecchi is set to return to Erinsborough just weeks after his character left Ramsay Street to start a new life in Colac with his parents.
In the latest set of episode teasers and spoiler images, we see Toadie return with Nell and Hugo to celebrate Nell’s 16th birthday party with their Erinsborough friends.
Images show Toadie looking happier and fresher than he did when he left Ramsay Street after 29 years. The character had been battling with his mental health and actor Ryan Moloney admitted that there were scenes where his motivation was that he believed the character was planning to take his own life. Whilst this was never openly discussed on screen, looking back, you can definitely see the spiral they were taking Toadie down.
But now he is back, looking happier and even seems to be in a good place with his former wife, Terese.
But the teaser for the episode set to air on December 5th, which is when Nell’s birthday party is, shows that ‘a celebration takes a devastating turn’.
So, are the smiles on Toadie’s face temporary? What happens at the Sweet 16 party?
We will find out more when Toadie, Hugo and Nell return at the end of November.
