Jane was devastated when she learned that Erinsborough High would be closing and despite her best efforts, the site was set to be sold to her friend and neighbour Terese Willis to convert into a new ‘Retirement Experience’.

Not one to go down fighting, Jane as continued to campaign and a Facebook group and online petition to “Save Erinsborough High” has gained a lot of attention. (And we all know that online petitions can sometimes be successful, don’t we?)

As Terese continues with her plans, passions run high and a protest is set up as a last-ditch attempt to prevent the redevelopment.

In this new set of images we see that the protest gets tense and the Police get involved, before students finally storm the building. But it isn’t just present-day students that are in attendance. Summer Hoyland (Jordy Lucas) is using her journalistic talent to broadcast her radio show from the protest, interviewing other past students including Melissa Jarrett (Jade Amenta) who was at the school in the late 1980s and Brett Stark (Brett Blewitt), the son of legendary Cheryl Stark, who attended Erinsborough High in the early 1990s. Never wanting to miss out, Michelle Scully (Kate Keltie) also turns up to the protest after studying at Erinsborough High in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Even some of the school’s favourite teachers get involved…..
