After Melanie admitted that she still loved Toadie and wanted him back, Toadie had vowed to stay away from Mel for the sake of his marriage. He has found this increasingly difficult as Terese has been giving him the cold shoulder and choosing to prioritise Paul over him.

Terese is distraught when the plaque dedicated to her dead son Josh and ex-father-in-law Doug goes missing during repairs at the hotel. When Haz gives her a lead on where it could be, Terese heads to the local rubbish dump with Paul in search of this important momento. Joining Paul in the hunt means that she has to cancel a date with her husband at the last minute.

Hoping that this date night would get his marriage back on track, Toadie is devastated when he finds out that Terese isn’t coming, spending time with Paul instead, and his resolve crumbles, he heads across the street to talk to the only person he feels he can vent to. Melanie.

As always, Melanie is glad to see Toadie, but she questions why he keeps turning to her in these moments…

This all unfolds in the episode that airs on March 7th and you can catch a new episode of Neighbours from 7am Monday-Thursday on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
