Following news from America that Reece wanted to end her relationship with Byron, he took off with his housemate, Mackenzie, to drown his sorrows with a boozy night out on the town. With Byron mourning the loss of his relationship and Mackenzie slowly coming to terms with the fact that her romantic interest, Haz, is in deep with Holly, the two made for fantastic drinkie buddies. The evening took a strange turn when they shared an intimate moment by Lassiters Lake.

The next morning we see Mack and Byron together in bed, both nursing sore heads from the night before. Mack orders Byron to go back to his own room, only to be seen leaving Mack’s bedroom in nothing but his underwear by Haz.

An agitated Haz tells Holly what he has seen and jumps to the conclusion that the two have hooked up. Holly doesn’t seem too disappointed, if Mackenzie is distracted by Byron, maybe she will stay away from Haz.

Later in the morning Mack and Byron surface, happy with the fun night they shared. Byron then finds the letter he received from Reece, forcing him to dip back into the sadness of his lost love. Mackenzie comforts him, telling him he deserves so much more.

Holly meets up with Sadie for a coffee and tells her that Mack and Byron have hooked up. Sadie doesn’t seem convinced this new pairing is a good thing, Holly is still joyous that this may keep Mack away from pining after Haz.

Sadie later wants Mackenzie to spill all about her hook up, but Mack is disgusted that Haz and Holly have been gossiping. Mack explains that Byron did spend the night in her room, butu nothing happened, they were just talking through Byron’s break up when he fell asleep.

Mackenzie returns home and confronts Haz about his gossiping, setting the record straight. As the pair exchange heated words, Mack lets it spill out, she could never be with Byron, because Haz is the man she wants.

The story continues tomorrow with a new episode of Neighbours available from 7am each day, Monday-Thursday on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video.
