After being convinced by Nicolette that she needed to be honest with Elly about experiencing Huntington’s Disease symptoms, Chloe picked up the phone and invited her partner to come down from Sydney for a visit.
Elly immediately flew down, leaving her daughter, Aster, up in Sydney with Shaun, hoping that this would be a romantic few days away. Elly is excited, but can’t help but feel that Chloe doesn’t feel the same way, evading deep conversation and refusing to commit to any plans.
Eventually, Elly asks Chloe what is wrong. Explaining that she feels that Chloe really isn’t very present in their relationship, she also wonders why her short emergency trip to Erinsborough turned into a long-term visit?
When Chloe drops her coffee cup, she has to come clean on what has been going on and explains about the arrival of her symptoms and her fears on what that means for their relationship.
