Neighbours dropped a new trailer this morning (May 2nd) showcasing some of the unmissable drama that is coming up over the next few weeks in Erinsborough.

In today’s episode Haz saw himself at risk after being hit by Mackenzie’s car whilst pursuing his blackmailer, Wade. It was revealed that Haz was part of a sting operation to allow the police to get evidence that Wade was responsible for the deep fake attacks that have recently plagued Ramsay Street.

It was revealed last week that Haz ends up in a serious condition in hospital as a result of his injuries, triggering the arrival of his sister, Amira. In the trailer, we see Amira giving Mackenzie a cold reception at the hospital, indicating that she has arrived to take care of Haz and Mackenzie’s help is no longer required.

Amira isn’t all ice though, as we later see her with Nicolette Stone and things look, shall we say, electric between them. Is love on the horizon for Nicolette?

Aaron has a potential love interest as we see Melanie introduce him to newcomer, Logan. We see Logan as a workout buddy for Aaron who is trying to get back on the straight and narrow after falling foul to drugs and drunken binges with Krista. Logan seems interested in Aaron, but is it too soon for Aaron to have someone new in his life?

Logan is played by Matthew Backer who is a presenter on the Australian kid’s TV series, Play School, along with Takaya Honda, who played Aaron’s husband, David. Eagle-eyed viewers may also recognise Matthew from his recurring role of Real Estate Agent Anton in the hit series Five Bedrooms.

With new love possibly on the horizon, we see old love causing trouble, as Krista and Leo find themself struggling to be around each other after their break up. Can the two co-exists or is there trouble ahead?

Another old love causing trouble is a first look at the arrival of Vic Stone, Jane’s ex-husband and father to Byron and Nicolette. Whilst Nic seems excited to see her father, Byron is less enthusiastic, calling his dad by his first name and questioning why Vic has suddenly turned up in Erinsborough…

We also see the return of Harold, arriving back in Erinsborough to be one of the first residents at Eirini Rising, Terese’s new retirement experience. Harold seems excited to be back but the grand opening of the development is in trouble as it appears that someone has poisoned the wine being served, which has come from Leo’s winery.

All of this unmissable drama kicks off next week, with the next episode of Neighbours streaming on Amazon Freevee and Amazon Prime Video from 7am, Monday.
